Become a Tutor

Thank you for your interest in Tutoring Services. The list below provides a quick display of courses for which we typically hire tutors. The list is not static and it is not exhaustive.
Tutor groups will be offered each semester based on student demand:

Submitting your Application:

To be considered for a position with Tutoring Services please complete and submit the following application materials:

1. Online Application

To apply, go to: http://employment.ku.edu/ and search for, "Student Hourly AAAC Tutor - Academic Achievement & Access Ctr."

Search for the position by using the "Search Jobs" link. Change the selection in the drop down for 'Posted' to 'Anytime' rather than the default setting of 'Last Month.'
Thereafter, type 'AAAC Tutor' in the 'Key Words' box, then click the position link, 'Student Hourly AAAC Tutor,' in the 'Posting Title' column.

2. Faculty/Instructor Reference Form

Applicants must have two references from Faculty/Instructors

Once you have downloaded the form, send the form as an e-mail attachment to the Faculty/Instructors who have agreed to serve as references for you.
